From October 5 to 23, 2026, the Oppenhuizerbrug and Lemmerbrug in Sneek will be operated only once an hour.
Take this into account during your boating route and check the current information via Vaarweginformatie.nl.
The Scharsterrijn Bridge (A6) between Joure and Lemmer is temporarily out of service due to technical problems.
Ships taller than 3,50 meters cannot pass the bridge and must take a detour. Lower ships can pass through as normal.

The Orion exceeds all expectations!
After 35 years of experience renting boats, the Orion exceeds all expectations. The ship is spotless, comfortable, and excellently maintained. Nothing is lacking on board: plenty of storage space, spacious refrigerators, a dishwasher, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and generous water and diesel tanks. Frequently asked questions
No, that is not allowed. You may not sail on saltwater. The IJsselmeer, Markermeer, and major rivers are only permitted with permission and experience. We recommend discovering beautiful Friesland first.
All our vessels are fully hull insured, with an excess of €750 (covered via the deposit). Always report damage immediately. Damage caused by negligence, sailing under the influence, or in bad weather is not insured. Your personal belongings are not covered; consult your travel insurance if desired.
That is certainly possible. We would be happy to assist you with this customized reservation. Furthermore, special, favorable pricing conditions apply. Please contact us by phone or email.
When making a reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the rental amount.
You can pay this deposit immediately via iDEAL or PayPal.
Would you prefer a manual bank transfer? Then you can transfer the amount to our account number within 15 days.
If we have not received the deposit within 15 days, the booking will automatically be cancelled.
You can transfer the remaining amount (the second installment) before departure or pay at the reception upon arrival.
Please note: we do not accept €200 or €500 banknotes.
The rental price includes standard amenities on board such as basic inventory (kitchen utensils), fitted sheet, and pillow with pillowcase.
Fuel costs are NOT ALLOWED included and settled afterwards based on consumption. A fixed rate applies per ship for the final cleaning: €85 to €125.
The rental price excludes the security deposit of €750.
No, you do not need a boating license to rent from us.
What is important to us is that you feel confident on the water. Do you have little experience? No problem, we understand that it might be your first boating holiday. That is why we are happy to offer you the opportunity to set out well-prepared with a short boating course from YAF .
230 volts are available on all our ships, both while sailing and when you are still active. However, the amount of power is limited, so use it responsibly.
Would you like to use medical equipment on board? Please contact us in advance so that we can discuss the possibilities together.

Of course, you are very welcome to stay in our cozy harbor on the day of arrival.
You are most welcome in our harbor, even for the entire duration of your boating holiday.
Our marina features sanitary facilities and an atmospheric veranda where you can relax and enjoy yourself.
Yes, on some ships Pets are very welcome on board. It is clearly indicated on every ship whether dogs are allowed.
Our own harbor dog Fien loves boating, and we understand better than anyone that your loyal four-legged friend is part of the company.
The Fortuna, Pandora, Najade, Selene, Orion, Odysseus, and the Argos have Wi-Fi on board.
